When ordering online, please serious consider the below information:
 |
 |
This is what you get when you buy from Mini Trail Bikes! |
This is a no-name brand This is what you get from e-tailor's online! |
We believe the pictures above speak for themselves. The picture on the right is how e-tailor's ship your go-kart to you, and it looks worse in person! This alone should give you some idea of what and who you are dealing with. If the above picture doesn't give you reason to pause, here are a few other reasons you may consider:
- Carter and Hammerhead are the #1 and #2 selling brands respectively in America. Both are American owned and operated, and have been established for years. Most, if not ALL, of the etailers are like the brands they retail, here today, gone tomorrow, leaving you stuck with an "orphan" brand with usually no parts, service, or warranty support.
- Mini Trail Bikes Inc has been retailing karts for over 37 years. Not 6 months. Not a year or two. It's our business, not a sideline.
- Etailers rarely, if ever, have an actual physical address. Most are middle-men who take your order, then have it drop-shipped to you from a warehouse. They can offer nothing except the initial enticement of a cheaper price. Which rarely IS cheaper than a quality Carter or Hammerhead machine, once you add up the total costs.
- Parts? Try to order a couple items before you buy the machine. We've tried it ourselves. We get a number of phone calls everyday with unhappy customers who have purchased other knock off brands, and we unfortunately can not help them because our parts will not work on these other brands.
- Service? There ISN'T ANY! Etailers don't fix things, they only SELL them! Etailers usually try to get around this important issue by claiming some national list of "approved service centers". Ask for the list, and start calling these "service centers." You can probably guess in most cases what you will discover. WARRANTY? What good is a warranty if there's no one to make good on it? Usually it's just a sales gimmic to entice you to buy.
- Freight Costs: Single-unit shipments of such machines are VERY expensive. Once you add freight costs, fuel surcharges, local delivery fees, tail-gate fees, the costs are usually about 400.00. Add it all up? How much cheaper is the knockoff brand? At best a couple of hundred dollars, many times the same or more than our everyday low price.
- You are on your own: once shipped, all responsibility for the product is transferred to you. Freight damage? Missing parts? Broken parts? Can't get the darn thing together? It doesn't work? It's between you and freight carrier, or whatever company the etailer purchased from and had drop-shipped to you.
Again, thanks for taking the time to read the above text, we hope it helps you make a better-informed decision. Please do not hesitate to contact us via email or phone with any additional questions or concerns
Sincerely:
The staff at Mini Trail Bikes Inc
