Like all Kymcos, transmissions are fully automatic CVT type. NOT the clunky, 3 speed "auto-clutch" design. Which means that, unlike the others, the Kymco can be infinitely adjusted to ANY SPEED/ACCERATION you are comfortable with, greatly enhancing safety for the beginning rider. Furthermore, CVT machines are much quicker than the average manual shift units! Another major advantage is simplicity: hardly any moving parts, and bullet-proof!
